A Closer Look at the Cases of Threatened South Asian Bloggers

In recent years a growing number of bloggers have been killed, threatened, detained or exiled in countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Maldives. We look at the cases from each country and discuss the current situation. The discussion will include what responses the civil society had to stop the threats, how to keep bloggers safer. And most importantly, how the online activists in these countries will come out of fear, stop self-censorship and write freely.
