Feedback form is now closed.
Changes in technology over the last decade have significantly increased the amount of graphic, violent and traumatic imagery available. You no longer need to leave your desk to see the horrors of our world in high definition or real time. What is the impact of this on people  who have to watch this imagery more than most - activists and those working for news, human rights and humanitarian organisations?

Through discussion, reflections and presentations of best practice, this workshop will focus on sharing: - highlights from the growing body of research that suggests repeated exposure to distressing imagery can result in vicarious trauma - Practical tools and techniques for lessening its potentially traumatic effects

Please note: there will be no traumatic imagery viewed during the workshop.
