What is the impact of this on people who have to watch this imagery more than most - activists and those working for news, human rights and humanitarian organisations?
Through discussion, reflections and presentations of best practice, this workshop will focus on sharing: - highlights from the growing body of research that suggests repeated exposure to distressing imagery can result in vicarious trauma - Practical tools and techniques for lessening its potentially traumatic effects
Please note: there will be no traumatic imagery viewed during the workshop.
